SO FAR SO GOOD...
I had my third Dr's appt today and another ultra sound. It was still very hard to see anything but we could see a "shadow" of a baby and more importantly we saw the flicker of a heart beat :) The heart beat was 113 and they said it probably just started to beat. I am 6 weeks 2 days and my due date is June 15. I still get a little worried because there is still some kind of blood clot in between the baby sac and my uterine wall, but the Dr. said that he thinks it will be fine and not cause a problem but they will keep an eye on it. I was happy today to at least see the little flicker so hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here :) Thank you all who have helped out saying prayers, watching kids, brought over a meal, and just being there for me!!

SICKNESS...WILL IT EVER END....
Well our family too have had a horrible week with sickness. It appears that Natilie had H1N1, that was the sickest we have ever seen her, and trust me she has been sick a TON, they started her on Tamiflu right away which helped instantly, she has missed a whole week of school, but she is not liking the nice big stack of homework that she has to make up. Now Justin and Wade have been sick, so I have been terrified that they will get it too. I took them to the Dr.'s today and Justin has a double ear infection and Wade has Para Influenza, which is just the regular flu, but we have to watch that they don't develop breathing problems or higher fever because they could still get H1N1, but hopefully not. We are so grateful for a WONDERFUL pediatrician, who does whatever it takes to make her patients better and to find out what is wrong. I just hope somehow Josh, Daniel and I remain healthy...

2009. AUG. FAMILY PIC'S THAT WERE DONE IN UTAH

My In-laws just emailed these pics last night, they are the ones we did in Aug. when we went to visit them in Utah. They are not the best that we have done but at least it has all of us in it, right... Trying to do pics that day was horrible, Justin screamed and cried, for almost the entire time! We tried to talk to him, bribe him with M&M'S, which worked in a few pics that he is not looking at the camera but at least he is not screaming! We found out afterwards that he was just starving, after he ate, then he was fine, so we now know for the future to FEED him first :)

ANOTHER PREGNANCY UPDATE
I went for my follow up Dr's appt and ultra sound today and here is what they said: comparing ultra sounds from this week to last weeks, my ultra sound had improved. Last week the sac was just a speck and there was lots of fluid and a pocket of something outside of my uterus. Today, the sac was in my uterus, it had gotten bigger so that was a plus. Its measuring about 5 weeks, which was still too soon to see the actual baby, but they said usually 6-7 weeks you can see the baby and yolk sac, so I have to go back next Monday for another ultra sound and hopefully we will for sure see something and that things will be OK. The fluid was reduced in general and the fluid pocket that was found was smaller too. They also found some kind of blood clot type thing in my uterus which was hemorrhaging last week but that too was smaller today as well and they said it should be OK. So as of right now, we did not get any "bad" news, but I will feel much better when I go in next week and hopefully see an actual baby. On another note, when I got back from the Dr.'s (thanks Jen Meeks for watching my kids, they love you and your little dog!) Natilie now has a fever of 102.9 and a red sore throat and headache, and are awaiting a phone call from the Dr. about her. The nurse said that those 3 things can be swine flu stuff, strep throat or hopefully just they "typical" common virus, but poor Natilie looks awful!

Update with pregnancy...
Just my luck, I might have miscarried already, I have a dr's appt at 1pm today. This has made me ponder of how truly amazing it is to bring a life into the world and how privileged we are to be mothers on the earth at this time when the gospel has been restored, even on those insane crazy days I have with 4 kids, it is never perfect, but it is wonderful to build and create families and that we can be a family forever. My 11 year old Daniel told me, mommy, someday I can't wait to see those brothers or sisters I would have had here on this Earth. That brings me comfort that we can get through this if it turns out to be a miscarry and how much I LOVE and am thankful for each of my children! I have to leave it in the lords hands now.

PREGNANT WITH NUMBER 5
These last 2 weeks I have had various Dr's appt's for my health (and thank you to Sarah and Jessie who so kindly helped out with watching Justin), and this last Wed. I went to my Rheumatoid Dr and they literally took 20 tube things of blood and was doing $3,000 dollars worth of blood tests and then they were going to send me to have a lot of xrays done of my bones and joints but had to do a pregnancy test first before having the xrays, and yep you guessed it, We are pregnant with #5.
We are very happy because we wanted 5 or maybe 6 kids, but it is overwhelming to think that next year (if I don't miscarry) we will for a few months have 3 kids under the age of 3. Wade just turned 7 months (and I haven't even lost the weight from being pregnant with him :( it always takes me a year, lovely....) Then I can focus on getting my health and body back in order someday and be done :) so for the next 9 months, you will all have to put up with me looking like an awful, sick, crazy insane prego mother....
My track record so far has been a miscarry every other child, so your prayers are welcomed and deeply appreciated! I am thankful and love all of you wonderful friends and family!

APPLE ORCHARD
This past Sat. we decided to go to the Baughman's apple orchard because Stacy and the kids were going too (and then I found out that Jessie and their family were going up later on that day) but somehow I made the mistake of going to the smaller Rittman Orchards instead of the bigger Baughmans Orchards so we were totally late in getting there, but we saw Stacy and the kids before they left. It was fun, with a lot of family activities to do, the kids really liked the little petting zoo. I forgot my camera so I just took a few with my phone. Justin LOVED being able to reach and pick the apples himself, but he started going a little crazy with it though picking everything he saw and throwing it like a ball, until he realized that it was apples to eat and not balls to throw.. then he couldn't stop eating them..

POOR JUSTIN
WELL HERE IS AN UPDATE ON JUSTIN'S DR'S APPT. WITH THE EAR NOSE AND THROAT SPECIALIST THAT WE WENT TO THIS WEEK. OUR POOR LITTLE JUSTIN WILL HAVE HIS FIRST SURGERY IN A FEW WEEKS. HE IS HAVING HIS TONSILS AND ADENOIDS TAKEN OUT. IT WILL BE DONE AT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL AND HE WILL BE IN THERE OVERNIGHT BECAUSE OF BEING ONLY 2 YRS OLD. HE WILL HAVE A ROUGH RECOVERY AND BE IN LOTS OF PAIN, THE DOCTOR SAID TO MAKE SURE I GIVE HIM TYLENOL WITH CODEINE EVERY 3 HOURS, HE CAN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO EAT BUT SOFT FOOD AND LIQUIDS FOR 2 WEEKS, WHICH I DON'T KNOW HOW HE WILL SURVIVE BECAUSE HE HATES SOFT, MUSHY FOODS. EVEN THOUGH IT WILL BE ROUGH FOR THAT LITTLE WHILE, THE DOCTOR SAID JUSTIN SHOULD BE A TON BETTER AFTER HE RECOVERS AND WON'T GET SICK WITH HIS SINUS, THROAT AND UPPER RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS THAT HE ALWAYS HAS, (UNLESS HE IS ON AN ANTIBIOTIC), SO CROSS YOUR FINGERS AND THROW IN SOME PRAYERS! I WILL POST MORE WHEN THAT TIME COMES SO OUR OUT OF TOWN FAMILY AND FRIENDS CAN KEEP UP TO DATE ON IT.
