Easter Egg Coloring

We decided to do Easter egg coloring yesterday after everyone had their Sunday naps..We invited my dad over for dinner and eggs...This was Justin's first time coloring eggs and he LOVED IT!! It was so funny to watch him....He just dove right in, grabbing as many eggs as he could and plopping them into each mug as the coloring splattered everywhere, and then when he thought they were done, he just grabbed them out of the cups with his hand as it dripped all down his arm and put them in the egg cartons, he went through the eggs so fast, we had 2 dozen and I think everyone else just got to color 2 eggs.....Once he realized that there were no more white eggs, he decided to re-baptize the already colored eggs again...it was a hoot...we had a lovely mess afterwards, thank goodness for good old kitchen bleach cleaner :)

Our Sweet Birthday Boy... Opening presents...

This was the first cake I have ever made like this. I was so excited but nervous to make this, but my friend Heather (who is fabulous at making cakes) coached me along and taught me how, it was so fun to make, I think I found a new hobby, thanks Heather!

Daddy, prego Mommy and Wade just got a new book that he wanted to use as a teething toy :)

Wade's party, we never seem to have enough money to do actual "real" birthday parties with friends (I always feel bad inviting people to come to my kid's party if I don't have goodie bags or something fun to do for them) so it's just simple with family. My dad, my sister and her husband and kids came, and Daniel and Natilie's father Dan and then us...it was small but the kids still had fun. Here was Wade opening presents, thanks everyone!

Wade LOVES his pacifiers and my sister got him a new one, and he didn't waste anytime, he tried putting it in his mouth and sucking on it through the package..

Today was our little man's first birthday, and boy how time flies...I reflect back on the last year and realize how precious these moments are when our kids are young and they are only young for such a short time! They need/want us and before long it will be us begging for them to be around and have their attention...Wade is a handful who never wants to sleep, but we wouldn't trade him in for the world, he has been such a joy to have in our home with all of his constant smiles, we are so blessed to be his mommy and daddy, we love you Wade!!...

Justin came out of Natilie's room while she was at school and was running around the house with her underwear on his head....what a funny kid....

We have been so busy lately that I havent had a chance to post some random pictures of the kiddo's...here ya go....

Justin with his 2 friends, they were so cute all eating peanut butter crackers on the window seat and copying eachother...

I ran to the store for a short period of time and find out that while I was gone Justin actually pooped in the toliet for the first time. Josh ran to get the camera and the batteries were dead so by the time he changed them and got it going again, Justin was standing on his potty chair, but gotta love this face!
