Mr. Wade is trying to crawl

Wade is now beginning his first few crawling steps, he goes about 2 crawl movements and then he gives up or does this bear crawl type of thing, check out the video. It is so cute to watch. On another note, this kid is still getting up a million times at night and he just turned 8 months old, we have let him cry it out and 2 nights ago, he cried for 2 hours straight without stopping and last night he cried for 3 hours straight, the kid just doesn't want to give up. Anyone have any suggestions, do I just keep letting him cry like that and he will eventually get over it??? I have been running on no sleep for 8 months and being pregnant (which always makes me extra tired) I just want to run and hibernate in a hole to get some sleep :) It's a good thing he is just so darn cute :)

oh my goodness that is too cute! I love how happy he looks! And sorry about the not sleeping through the night. We started letting Eleanor cry it out at nap times first. That seemed to work. It seems like forever ago though so I can't really remember any other advice to give you! :) If ever you want me to just come over and play with your boys so you can take a nice nap let me know!

So cute Jen! As far as sleeping goes - I feel ya! Natalie didn't sleep consistently through the night until a few months ago, and it was because she was sharing a room with her brother and I wouldn't let her CIO. For my kids the only time they wouldn't soothe themselves back to sleep was if they weren't getting enough to eat or they were cold, aside from that, I stick with the CIO and it works within a week or so.. though Natatlie had a much harder week than Dominic (crying for hours at a time liek Wade). Good luck! I can't imagine being pregnant, getting up a bunch during the night, and dealing with a two year old recovering from surgery - I hope you're able to get a nap once in a while :)

So cute! Pepper is starting to do that same thing as well. When I first started the video I thought it was me talking! We sound scarily alike on video, or maybe all moms make that same high pitched voice:) Sorry to hear things have been so crummy. My suggestion for sleep is always to consult the Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child book. I would maybe try more naps and an earlier bed time or ask your doctor. Pepper is going back and forth each night with good sleep and bad. I can't wait till we have more space so she can have her own room to really cry it out! Let me know if I can help in anyway!
