This year while I was in the party throwing mood, we decided to do a big 1st birthday bash for our sweet Delaney. We had LOTS of friends come, after we went through the pictures there was about 34 people (kids included) who came to celebrate with us, we are so grateful for wonderful friends! Delaney did so good, she was so easy going just taking in everything, she loved the food, cake and presents. Delaney also had her 1 year well check up yesterday as well, she got 2 shots and had been sick with a few things but is doing well and her ear infection is almost gone. She is 90th percentill for weight, length and head size. She is 30 pounds, 32 1/2 inches long and has a big noggin (following the steps of her brothers Daniel and Justin and mommy, yes I according to the boys genetics doctor I have a very big head lol) The first two pictures are of an adorable dolly and me dress we found at gabriel brothers for 10 bucks, my dad got Delaney a cabbage patch doll so we put the doll dress on that. I have ALWAYS wanted one of these for a little girl (and I dont remember them 11 years ago with Natilie), I was so happy I could finally get one!

The cake wasn't enough so she had to move to the decorations
She LOVED the eating the birthday cake
I made a another simple cake in addition to the crown cake to make sure I had enough cake for everyone
I was SO excited to make this princess crown cake for Delaney, the cookie template I printed out was not the best, so if I ever make this again, I will have to think of something different to do, but it didn't turn out too bad...

These two pictures were after she was done with dinner, I had made a huge pasta dish and she loved it, hence the sauce all over her face and her cute grin
Here are pictures of our friends...I had another friend who took about 300 pictures, but I dont have those yet, he is putting them on a cd for us, but this is what we got on our little cheapo camera. Emma with one of her cute twins in the picture above

what a fun party! you are such a good party planner/hostess! i know i've said it before, but i can't believe our babies are (almost) one! and you look amazing!! I've set Penelope's birthday as my deadline to lose my weight :) we'll see how that goes!
Delaney is one- WOW- SERIOUSLY?? You went all out for her! Good for you and what a fun party! Thanks for your text Jen- things are great over here- just hoping this baby gets out of me sooner than later :) I'm really ready to NOT be pregnant. Love the update on all the kiddies... and big kiddies too- you look beautiful too of course!
