My dearest friend Ursala, told me about the Hunger Games books and that I would probably like them. I normally don't care to read much (just have always been like that) but I decided to borrow them from her and I must say I am totally obsessed!! I read all 3 books in about 18 hours (I would read when the kids went to bed and stayed up till the wee hours in the morning) We had planned a group date with some other couples to go out for a light dinner at Panera Bread and then off to the movie. Here is our crew, from left to right. Matt and Stacy, Patrick and Ursala, Sarah and Andrew, Josh and myself, Nicole and Trent, and Rachel and David. Such a great group of friends, it was so fun!

Josh and Jen, it was so nice to get out and be with friends and a date night with my husband.
I absolutely LOVED the movie, its seriously my favorite and I was so lucky to have seen it twice (thanks to April T. who invited me the night before to the midnight showing :) I still can't wait to see it again and for it to come out on Dvd so I can watch it as many times as I want, I thought it was pretty close to the books, of course there were some things that were changed, but overall I thought it turned out great, definitely my kind of movie :)

Oh, I really wanted to go! Well at least I should feel good enough to go next time there is a group outing. I can't wait to go see the moive :)
I am glad you liked it! And got to go out with some friends. I feel like I haven't seen you in ages. Maybe one of these days we will have to plan to get together.
